Virgin Media (www.virginmedia.com/amazon) is giving away a £50 Amazon gift voucher plus a 3 months free offer to new customers who order a Virgin Media bundle online by the 31st March.

The new incentive together with the company’s existing free installation and free TiVo box activation offers mean new customers can generate savings of at least £209 when they switch to a broadband, TV and phone bundle from Virgin Media.

Virgin Media’s broadband, TV and phone bundles start from £20 a month (after the first 3 months free) and for this customers receive unlimited broadband speeds up to 10Mbps, access to 75 digital TV channels including Sky1, SkyLIVING and Discovery via the supplied VHD or TiVo box, plus unlimited weekend phone calls to UK landline and Virgin Mobile numbers.

Catch Up TV is included which enables customers to catch up on the last 7 days’ TV with the BBC iPlayer, 4 On Demand and ITV Net Player.

There’s also a vast choice of films, shows and music videos that are available to watch on demand, while 6 HD channels including the likes of BBC One HD and FilmFour HD can be enjoyed.

New customers opting for Virgin Media’s clever new 500GB TiVo box (at an additional cost of £5 a month) will be able to pause, rewind and record TV, record three programmes & watch a fourth, plus have storage for 250 hours of TV. There’s also other great functionality likes Wishlists and Search & Browse.

Virgin Media is currently rolling out a double broadband speed upgrade programme in phases across the country, which means new customers taking the £20 bundle outlined above should, over the next 12 months, see their broadband speeds double to 20Mbps for free.

Interested readers will need to order a Virgin Media bundle online at the www.virginmedia.com/amazon website by the 31st March in order to qualify for the first 3 months free and a £50 Amazon gift voucher.

Virgin Media’s (www.virginmedia.com/bundles) New Collections are now half price for 6 months for new customers who join online and there’s a further £60 off if orders are placed online by the 24th May.

New customers switching to a Virgin Media Collection can also qualify for free engineer installation worth £49.95, plus free activation on Virgin’s 500GB TiVo set top box – also worth £49.95.

These incentives generate a substantial first year saving of £234.90 on Virgin Media’s Essential Collection of Broadband, Phone and Digital TV which usually costs £25 a month (now £12.50 a month).

The Essential Collection provides unlimited fibre optic broadband speeds up to 30Mbps (typical speed is 30.62Mbps), unlimited weekend phone calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobiles, the 500GB TiVo box, plus access to 75 digital TV channels and 6 HD channels.

New customers joining now will also benefit from Virgin Media’s recent double broadband speed upgrade which has seen its entry level broadband speeds rise to 30Mbps – with the price remaining the same at £7.25 a month for the first 6 months.
