The TalkTalk ‘Essentials’ package provides broadband download speeds up to 24Mbps combined with a 40GB monthly usage allowance, while unlimited evening and weekend phone calls to UK landline numbers are also included.

The package (usually priced at £6.50 a month) also includes a free wireless router, free HomeSafe online protection and unlimited phone calls anytime to friends and family who are with TalkTalk.

There’s also a 10% discount on calls to a customer’s top 16 mobile and international numbers.

TalkTalk’s next generation broadband network covers 85% of the UK population which means most households can take advantage of TalkTalk’s half price winter sale when switching.
