AOL Broadband Offers Free Telephone Line Rental

AOL Broadband (AOLBroadband.co.uk) is offering free telephone line rental for one month as part of an exciting revamp of its broadband and phone call deals.

In addition to one month’s free telephone line rental (saving £11.25), new customers switching to the AOL Broadband, Calls and Landline Rental package will also get their broadband and phone calls free for the first month (saving an additional £9.99).

The broadband, calls and landline rental package from AOL provides up to 24Mbps broadband speeds with a 10GB usage allowance, evening and weekend phone calls to UK landlines, plus monthly phone line rental.

New customers not wanting to switch their telephone line rental to AOL can opt for the AOL Broadband & Calls package which provides up to 8Mbps broadband speeds (with 10GB usage allowance) plus evening & weekend UK landline phone calls.

This package is also free for the first month, followed by £4.99 per month for 2 months, then £9.99 a month thereafter. Customers will need to keep paying BT separately for their monthly telephone line rental.

AOL Broadband is also offering the first month free on its broadband only package known as ‘Just Broadband’.

All AOL Broadband packages come with a free wireless router and full wireless security. There’s also currently no connection charge to pay.

The £4.99 per month offer for the first 3 months (£14.99 a month thereafter) applies to its broadband only package, known as ‘Just Broadband’, which is one of the cheapest of its kind currently on the market.

Carphone Warehouse owned AOL Broadband (AOLBroadband.co.uk) looks set to end its £15 LOVEFiLM DVD e-voucher offer for new customers signing up to its broadband service.

The offer, which is schedule to end this Friday 31st July also includes a free 30 day trial to LOVEFiLM’s online DVD rental service which provides access to the UK’s widest range of DVD’s with over 65,000 titles.

The LOVEFiLM incentive applies to users who order AOL Broadband’s popular wireless broadband deal which offers up to 8Mb broadband, a 10Gb usage allowance and a free wireless router worth £50. Full wireless security is also offered while there’s also no connection fee to pay.

AOL Broadband has launched a no contract broadband package called ‘Broadband Wireless Flexi’.

The no contract broadband deal has no minimum timescale like 12 or 18 months to sign up to, meaning users can cancel their broadband at any time without any exit fees.

Costing £14.99 a month, AOL Broadband Wireless Flexi has speeds up to 8Mb, a 10Gb monthly download usage allowance, plus a free wireless router worth £50. Customers will also have access to AOL’s award winning 24/7 customer support.

There’s a one off connection fee of £49.99 to pay, plus an additional charge of £5 a month if users don’t live within AOL’s bundled network which covers circa 75% of UK households.
