BT (BT.com/newdeal) has cut the price of its broadband, phone and on demand digital TV packages – generating savings of up to £80 in the process.
The price reduction is part of a major revamp of the company’s three broadband, phone and digital TV packages that sees new package names also introduced.
Its entry level package, now known as BT Talk, Surf and Watch has a new initial price of £9.99 a month and includes unlimited UK weekend landline calls and up to 20Mbps broadband speeds with a 10GB usage cap.
BT Vision digital TV with Freeview access, plus 2 viewing packs (TV and Replay) is also included with a one-off charge of £90 applying for the black BT Vision + box.
BT Talk, Surf and Watch More is BT’s mid level package which contains the same weekend phone call and broadband elements, but offers BT Vision digital TV with Freeview access, plus 4 viewing packs. These include TV and Replay, plus a choice of 2 packs from the latest blockbuster films, kids TV without the ads, live sport and music.
Monthly prices start from £13.49, with the black BT Vision + box included for free.
Customers wanting the freedom of unlimited anytime UK landline calls, unlimited broadband usage and ALL BT Vision’s viewing packs can opt for the BT Talk, Surf and Watch Unlimited package.
Costing from just £35.99 a month, this package also includes the black BT Vision + box for free.
There’s also good news for customers wanting to order one of these packages but who don’t have a BT landline installed. BT is currently waiving the £122.50 connection charge for installing a new BT line.
Readers interested in BT’s Talk, Surf and Watch packages can find out further information at the BT.com/newdeal website.

Just a quick update on this. BT are now charging a one-off £50 to install a new BT landline. It’s not all bad news though and this still represents a saving of £72.50 on their usual pricing. Orders for BT Broadband, phone & TV packages can be placed online at BT.com/newdeal.
Thanks
