You can now get smaller Sky bills with Sky’s great new offer of free Sky broadband, free Sky Talk line rental and free evening & weekend phone calls (all 3 for FREE).
Both the broadband and the telephone line rental are free for the first 3 months when you order any Sky TV entertainment pack costing just £16.50 a month. The off peak phone calls, known as Sky Talk Freetime, are free all year around.

The free Sky broadband (which will cost £10 p/m after your first 3 months free) is their unlimited Max service which offers download speeds up to 16Mb. A free wireless router and 12 months free McAfee internet security is also included.
The free Sky Talk line rental is a new service from Sky which means you don’t have to pay BT seperately for your telephone line rental. You’ll just receive one bill from Sky for your broadband, phone calls, line rental and TV. After your first 3 months free, a £10 monthly charge will apply – which is still less than the line rental charged by the likes of BT or Virgin Media.
The free evening & weekend phone calls plan covers calls to UK landlines only. It excludes calls to mobiles, premium rate numbers, non-geographic numbers and calls to the Channel Islands.
Sky’s offer of a £15 credit when you order this package online does currently apply so make sure you order online by the offer end date of the 5th February 2009.

sir, we currently have the entrtainment package [ £21 per month ] if we switched to your sky talk line rental and broadband plus the free evening and weekend calls, keeping the package we have now, what would be the total price to pay, thanks, Ken Witham
please send further details .
Hi Ken
Thanks for your question. The answer depends upon your existing contract with Sky. You will probably be able to re-contract with them, taking the line rental, broadband and free off peak phone calls, plus your TV entertainment pack.
Therefore, you could be paying between £16.50 and £21 for the first 3 months for all, followed by circa £36.50 per month thereafter. This is a great deal & assumes you live in a Sky Broadband network area.
See our Sky package review for more info:

I hope this helps.
Kind regards
Steve

We currently pay £36.00 per month for Sky Sports 1 and Sky Movies 1
(although we no longer need Sky Movies 1). How much would we have to pay for Sky + sky sports 1 + Sky broadband and sky talk line and free evening and weekend call after the 3 month trial. We are currently with bt free evening and weekend calls + bt broadband.
Hi Chris
Assuming you live in a Sky Broadband network area (where you could get 2Mb Sky Broadband for free), you’ll be paying £37.50 a month for that package.
Kind regards

Hi there
How can you find out whether you live in a Sky broadband network area? We have all our services with sky, but pay a whopping £17 a month for Broadband connect as we were told we don’t live in a networked area, so can’t get free broadband – but I can’t find out whether that might change or whether it might be networked in the future.
Many thanks
